Arkoi

East of Patmos and north of Lipsi, Arkoi  is s complex of islands renowned for wonderful beaches. The settlement bearing the same name is situated in the largest island of the complex. The scenery is made up of old stone residences, some of them white-washed others newly built, and small picturesque taverns. If you wish to swim, you will find beaches full of lentisks and tamarisks, such as at Limnari, Kapsalismenos, Tiganakia, Patelia and Ampelaki. Finally there is a fine beach with lentisks and tamarisks on the small island of Marathi.
