Astypalea
Astypalea is the western-most island of the Dodecanese complex, situated exactly where the Dodecanese meet the Cyclades. Thus, the island boasts many Cycladic features in landscape as well as in architecture.
The island, which is naturally split in two by a strip of land less than 100m wide, extends over a surface of 97km², its coastline is 110km long and it has 1,300 inhabitants.
