Limnos or Lemnos offers real relaxation and contact with nature. Sheltered gulfs, extensive beaches and landscapes of volcanic rocks alternate with small hills and traditional villages of stone houses. The land is fertile and locals produce wine, honey and cheese, widely known since ancient times for their quality. The island has an area of 477km², a coastline of 260km and a population of 18,000 people.
Limnos connects by boat with the ports of Pireaus, Lavrio and Kavala. Its airport has flights to the Athens airport.
